Ruth Ann “Ruthie” Copeland, 68, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
Ms. Copeland was born in Salem, Indiana, on October 11, 1954, the daughter of the late Walter Delbert Copeland and Mary Ella Curtis Copeland. She attended Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church and Silverdale Baptist Church. She loved being with her family and friends.
She is survived by a sister, Jane Perry; brother, Del Copeland (Marie); two nieces, Muffy Perry (Doug Coile) and Cortney Copeland (David Gratz); three nephews, Daniel Copeland, Enzo Copeland, and Campbell Copeland; several aunts and cousins; special lifelong friend and companion, Lewis Martin; and family friends, Pam Charlesworth, and Margee Thomas.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or to Arthritis Foundation P.O. Box 96280 Washington, DC 20077.
