Peggy had the biggest heart and smile. She loved fishing, her children and grandchildren. She was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved music and music festivals. Peggy was a member and past treasurer of the Auxiliary VFW. She worked as an orthopedic nurse and phlebotomist, who always put her patients first. Peggy loved photography and was always the person behind the camera.
Peggy leaves her memories to her parents, George and Nancy Skinner; husband, John (J.P.) Carter; son, Matthew Davis; her daughters, Alyssa (Nick) Steele, Jessica (Ronnie) Snow; sisters, Kelly (Ricco) Vasquez, Kristin (Aaron) Trippe; and grandchildren, Ryleigh and Addy Steele and Logan Snow.
The family will have visitation on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee.
There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 6 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee, with Pastor Stewart Sowder officiating.
