Martha Ida Hall Stewart, 77, of South Pittsburg, TN passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend to many and will be missed by all that knew her.
She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Purl Hall, and Elsie Johnson Hall; husbands, David Sacks and John Stewart; children, Victor Sacks, and Tracy Denise Sacks; siblings, Juanita Hall and Houston Hall.
Survivors include her sons, Tim (Christy) Sacks of Jasper, Johnny Mathews of Haletown; daughter, Amanda Mathews of Whiteside; brothers, Leonard Hall of Whiteside, Stanley Hall of Kimball; Cecil Hall of South Pittsburg; sister, Julie Hall, of South Pittsburg; daughter-in-law, Alice Sacks; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Monteagle Cemetery located at 1120 Bluebird Lane, Monteagle, TN 37356 with Pastor Joe Moore officiating.
Martha was laid to rest with her husband David Sacks at the Monteagle Cemetery.
Pallbearers were T. J. Sacks, Marcus Sacks, Jacob Sacks, Jonathan Hall, John Walsh and Mike McKay.
