James Wilton Johnson, 76, of Dunlap, TN., passed away Friday, July 6, 2018.
Jim was a Pastor at Henson Gap Baptist Church in Dunlap TN. He was a Graduate of Tennessee Temple with Magna Cum Laude Honors. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Navy and Served on the Shangri-La.
He was born March 29, 1942 to the late James Hubert Johnson & Oveda Reynolds Johnson; wife, Carlene Melton Johnson;
Those left to cherish his memory are his children Ronnie (Julie) Johnson, Regina (Regan) McDevitt, Michael (Nancy) Johnson, Mark (Cindy) Johnson & Sherrie Wright; several Brothers and Sisters; many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. CST.
Funeral Services will be conducted from the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. CST with Bro. Steve Sellers officiating. Military Honors will follow the service presented by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guards.
Interment will follow at Dunlap Cemetery.
