The Angels opened Heavens Gates on Friday, June 24, 2022, for Earl S. Keeler, 99, of Jasper. Earl was born on November 22, 1922 to the late James Keeler and Della Zornes Keeler. Earl was a veteran with the United States Navy for which he served in World War II. He worked for the Corp of Engineers and was a Deacon at Bible Baptist Church. He loved gardening, looking for ginseng in the mountains, and digging wildflowers in the Spring. He was a beekeeper with over 50 hives and loved spending time with his family.
Earl is preceded in death by his father; James Keeler, mother; Della Zornes Keeler; wife, Rosie Lee Sexton Keeler; brothers, Jim Keeler, George Keeler, Kerry Keeler; sisters; Della Rollins, Nancy Elizabeth Mann and Annell Saenz.
Left to cherish his memories are sons, Earl C. (Margaret) Keeler, Stanley (Donna) Keeler; daughters, Penny Ruth, Patricia Ruth, Brenda Bast; brother, Lon (Maybelle) Keeler; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Monday, June 27, 2022, in the Chapel at Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Pallbearers were Trampas Ruth, James Keeler, Eric Ruth, Travis Bradford, Josh Bradford, Danyell Green.
Burial was in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
