Christopher “Shaggy” Arland Havner, 43, of South Pittsburg, was guided by the heavenly lights to his forever home on Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born on January 13, 1979, to Leonard Arland Havner and the late Angela Elaine Muir. Chris was employed with David Payne Construction as a construction laborer. He was a great man, outstanding father and loved spending time with his children and family. Chris had the love for life and enjoyed each day to the fullest. He will be missed by all that had come to love him.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Angela Elaine Muir.
His memories are left to his father, Leonard Arland Havner; sons, Cameron Havner and Preston Anderson; daughter, Kayla Havner; sister, Melissa Hill (Jason Tate) along with nieces and nephews, Emily, Kasa, Colin, Jase and Thatcher.
The family will have visitation on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Services will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. CST in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor Loranda Siler officiating.
Burial will follow at Orme Cemetery in South Pittsburg.
